Evening among The Raindrops

If you ask me whether it's worth it to go on with the shoot even when it starts to rain, my answer will almost always be yes!

Rainy evening in the city can be so incredibly romantic. The streets empty as the rain falls down and it creates incredibly romantic calming atmosphere; something unique that not everyone can get.

And you never know. The sky may crack open eventually and you'll get that beautiful after-rain pink sky!

I met this couple who traveled all the way from Singapore at the Parliament House where we spent a few moments before commencing our walk through our first stop - Gamla Stan. About 30 min into our shoot it started to rain and it was honestly perfect timing as the streets of Gamla Stan emptied and created this beautiful romantic "stranded in the big city" vibe!

Riddarholmen

And just as we made our way towards Riddarholmen the sky started to open and we were able to enjoy that beautiful soft evening light Stockholm is famous for. We took a stroll around the tiny island, the couple indulged in some silly plays and we wrapped it all up with beautiful views over Södermalm.
